Day 01

Arrive in Kathmandu

Upon arrival, be greeted at the airport with garlands of flowers
- Transfer to the hotel for rest or enjoy free time to explore Nepal’s capital

Day 02
- Breakfast at the hotel
– Temple Kastamandap
– The house of the Living Goddess Kumari - Swayambudnath temple (2000 years old)
- An excursion to the ancient city of Patan (299 AD)
– Visit the Royal Palace (17th century)
– Krishna temples
– Hiranaya Varna
– Mahavir Mahabudda
– Mangal Bazaar - O//N in Kathmandu
- City tour of Durbar Square

- 1/2 day sightseeing
– Pashupatinath Temple Complex
– Medieval City of Bhaktapur - Drive to Dulikhel. Views of as many as 20 highest Himalayan peaks

Day 04
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Drive from Dulikhelya – Kodari (border of Nepal – Tibet)
- Dzhangmu (2300 meters) to Nyalam (3750 m)
- O/N in Guest House
Day 05
- Rest in Tibetan town of Nyalam (3750 m)
- O/N in Guest House
Day 06
- Drive from Nyalam to Saga (4450 m, 232 km / about 7-8 hour drive)
- Enroute visit Temple, built on the spot Milarepa caves & pass small Tibetan villages
- Cross the river Yarlung Tszangpo (Brahmaputra)
- O/N in Guest House
Day 07
- Drive from Saga – Paryang (4600 m, 285 km / about 7-8 hour ride)
- On the way stop in an abandoned village of Donba
- O/N at the campsite
Day 08
- Saga – Paryang
- O/N camping
Day 09
- Drive to Tarchen (4560 meters), to the foot of Mt. Kailash
- Visit the Buddhist monastery “Tuku”
- O/N in Guest House
Day 10
- Rest in Tarchen
– Tarchen Gore
– Mani Lakhang - O/N in Guest House
- Short sightseeing
Day 11
- Drive to Tarpuche (5 km)
- Trek around Kailash Mountain (6714 m) about 7-8 hour walk)
- O/N Camping
Day 12
- Continue trek in Zutulpuk Gompa (4790 meters, about 6-7 hours walk)
- Dolma – La pass (5630 m)
- Overnight in Guest House
Day 13
- End of the trek (about 3 hours walk), return to Tarchen
- Sacred lake Manasarovar
- O/N Camping
Day 14
- Drive to Donba (about 10 hours of driving)
- Overnight in Guest House
Day 15
- Drive to Nyalam (about 8-9 hours)
- Overnight in Guest House
Day 16
- Return to Kathmandu (about 6-7 hour drive) through the Kodari
- Traditional Nepali meal with cultural show including Nepalese dance
Day 17

Free time until transfer to airport for departure
